East Crete Geopark
East Crete, Kouremenos Bay, the beautiful beach at Palekastro, a small corner of paradise in Europe…
Biking or hiking in an unspoilt area between olive trees and aromatic herbs, between rough mountains and deep valleys, between sheep and goats, to distant mountain villages and deserted beaches, to archeological sites and other tourist attractions. Every trail offers the possibility of a fresh dive in the sea from a remote beach and of a bite to eat or a cool drink in a hidden village where time has really come to a standstill. You will invariably be welcomed there with a heartfelt “iasou” or “iasas” because hospitality is not an idle word. The area is genuinely Greek, the weather is always fantastic, no mass tourism or crowds here, no big holiday resorts.
Crete has to be felt and experienced, here you can combine off-road mountain biking or hiking with a real holiday.

You will be riding high-quality professional BMC bikes and you will have the choice between standard and expert bikes. There will be no stress because of gears getting stuck or brakes not working properly: the bikes are serviced by our mechanic every day.
You send us your personal measurements and a perfectly fitted bike will be put aside for you.
The bikes come with flat pedals but you can have your own pedals fitted.
Especially for the ladies we have a range of women’s specific mountain bike saddles available!
Helmets are compulsory. A few helmets are available but we would recommend you bringing your own helmet.
